# Built with PostHog badges

> Two website badges that show your product is built with PostHog. Copy the HTML or Markdown into your site or README, or download the SVG or PNG.

HTML version: https://brand.posthog.com/badges · All docs for agents: https://brand.posthog.com/llms.txt

There are two badges, for a website footer or a README. Each is a self-contained SVG with a solid background, so it works on any page. Show it at 100×50 px or larger. Any smaller, and the logo inside drops below 80 px wide, the smallest size the PostHog logo goes.

## Which badge to use

## Embed code

The links go to posthog.com. Keep the `width` and `height` attributes.

### Standard badge

For a website:

```html
<a href="https://posthog.com/?utm_source=badge&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=posthog-badge"
  target="_blank" rel="noopener"><img src="https://brand.posthog.com/badges/posthog-badge.svg"
  alt="Built with PostHog" width="100" height="50" /></a>
```

For a README:

```markdown
[![Built with PostHog](https://brand.posthog.com/badges/posthog-badge.svg)](https://posthog.com/?utm_source=badge&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=posthog-badge)
```

### Dark badge

For a website:

```html
<a href="https://posthog.com/?utm_source=badge&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=posthog-badge-dark"
  target="_blank" rel="noopener"><img src="https://brand.posthog.com/badges/posthog-badge-dark.svg"
  alt="Built with PostHog" width="100" height="50" /></a>
```

For a README:

```markdown
[![Built with PostHog](https://brand.posthog.com/badges/posthog-badge-dark.svg)](https://posthog.com/?utm_source=badge&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=posthog-badge-dark)
```

The code loads the badge from brand.posthog.com. To host it yourself, download the SVG. Where SVG doesn't work, such as most email clients, use the PNG at 100×50 px. If the site sets a Content Security Policy, add `https://brand.posthog.com` to `img-src`.

## Using the badges

- You can show these badges on your website, app, docs, or README if your product or project uses PostHog.
- Use the files as they are. Don't recolor, crop, stretch, or redraw them, and don't show them smaller than 100×50 px.
- Don't use a badge to suggest that PostHog endorses your product or partners with you.
- We can ask you to take a badge down at any time.
- This permission covers only these badges.
